I voted awhile ago. The Denver Democratic Party is very important. In addition to Denver DA and state CU Regent, there is some house district drama we're all watching.
I'm frustrated with you guys for not touching on the D4 special election–not just that Greg Lopez is a reprehensible human but also that Trisha Calvarese is good egg—and reminding people to vote all the way down their ballot. I don't know the exact ballot printing design but I know it looks like an afterthought.
The outcome of this race matters. From this morning's The Unaffiliated:
"The 4th District special election, also being decided Tuesday, will serve as a barometer for voters’ future willingness to back a Democrat in the Republican stronghold in November. Former Parker Mayor Greg Lopez is expected to beat Democrat Trisha Calvarese, a former speechwriter and congressional aide. National groups ignored the race, a sign that its outcome was never in doubt. But if Calvarese gets within 10 points of Lopez, that could be a signal that the district, which includes Douglas County and Loveland and sweeps across the Eastern Plains, is more vulnerable in the fall than political observers may think."
Remember another congressional race that national groups ignored and a candidate manages to pull off the 546 vote thought impossible?
Shad Murib was adamant at the state assembly that he's not writing off any district.
Speaking off writing, shout out to the 3500+ volunteers at PostcardsToVoters.org who DID write in support of Calvarese, donating their own cards and postage.
Why not every candidate is working with Postcards To Voters and Markers for Democracy is beyond me. Yadira Caraveo and Adam Frisch know the potential and have been guests on the Zooms.

Yes about CD4! You beat me to the punch on that.
Wow. That's a lot of typos. I'm better about proofreading the postcards I send out.
